A painting, an installation, a single frame locks in an outcome. A book, a passage, a song, a film, a sentence, a gesture—all trap the beginning, the process, the result. Every work points to past, present, and future—metaphor, simile, satire, and plain depiction. Life, too, is boxed in by beginnings, processes, and outcomes! But I refuse to let life, or my art, be confined.

Right now, my works are constrained by these mediums. But last night, I spent hours thinking and remembered this: as a child, I would take mini comic books (smaller than my palm) of Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf—prizes from capsule toy machines—and, with my sister, tear out pages to leave at the doorsteps of every household in my grandmother’s hallway. It was exhilarating. I’d eagerly wait, thrilled to see if anyone would notice or pick them up. That anticipation of watching people’s reactions was pure joy.

This time, I’m sending out my beloved Digimon cards, transforming them into an eternal, ever-flowing artwork that transcends time and space!

The work is dynamic—constantly in motion, endlessly giving and taking. And yet, I cannot interfere with how, when, or if someone will receive or respond. All I can do is keep the work moving, ensuring its presence, its pause, and its reappearance. I won’t linger to observe its progression every day, because it’s already alive, flowing within the rhythms of life.

Perhaps, if you visit now, you might find one household’s Digimon card blown to another doorstep, or see an elderly neighbor stretching at his door accidentally kicking one two meters away. This work is like a piece of musique concrète, producing unpredictable environmental sounds and frequencies. Or no—it is the originator of creation itself, producing concrete music and real events.

To someone watching the video or reading this text, the work might seem to have a beginning and an end. But in truth, it is constantly shifting, changing with every second. It doesn’t rest like a painting or a statue, stuck in a static outcome or quietly eroding under traditional methods of conservation. It neither grows nor diminishes. It simply flows with time and space, sometimes even ruling over them.
